Join us for an insightful talk by Claus Toksvig Kjaer, a renowned Danish Animation Producer. Claus's journey in the animation industry began with a shift from English Literature to Classical Drawing and Animation at The Animation Workshop in Viborg. From there, he worked on various short films before joining Cartoon Saloon in Ireland as a Production Coordinator for the BBC Television Show 'Skunk Fu'.
After returning to Denmark, Claus took on the role of leading animated science projects and attracting international co-productions to the region. He joined Arsenalet as a Producer for their company cluster, focusing primarily on feature film production. Notable collaborations include co-producing the Oscar-nominated 'Song of the Sea' for Cartoon Saloon and 'Long Way North' for Sacrebleu and Maybe Movies in partnership with Nørlum Animation Studio.
Claus's impressive portfolio expanded further with collaborations like the 22-minute pilot for Amazon Prime, 'Eddie of the Realms Eternal,' and working with Disney TV Animation on the first season of 'Big Hero 6 - The Series' in 2017.
